Ann Taylor’s dot jacquard 3/4 sleeve jacket (307978, $158) runs in regular & petite sizes. It’s currently on sale online & in-store for $99.99.
Size 6 – I would expect to take a 6 in this and this is the righ size. I tried a 4 and absolutely no go. I could barely get my arm in and I had on a thin dress that day. On the day I tried this, I had on a lightweight sweatshirt and was able to fit that under the jacket. It did seem to feel a little cropped. I don’t know if I’d call it shrunken overall, though. I’m on the short side (5’2″), so it didn’t bother me.
Embroidered floral shift dress (291219, $198) is now $159.99 online. It’s 100% polyester.
Size 6 – I was gonna say it’s a little shapeless on me and might fit with more shape on a different figure. But the model in the stock pic isn’t making it look any less shift-y either. I think it would be a cute dress for the right bride. I checked out the reviews and sure enough, a woman planned to wear it for her 2nd wedding.
Yep, it’s a shift. Very straight. Shifts can be very straight and I usually like that. This one seemed to hang more like a rectangle and not in a very flattering way. I don’t think it’s unflattering. It just kind of hangs there. I’m not sure if it’s possible to size down and change the look of it.
I liked the floral embroidery. It was pretty on the hanger, so I thought it would be a nice try-on.
