This post ran in 2009 on my blog, Gigi’s Gone Shopping. For the record, I do not have another shopping blog.
Ann Taylor Loft’s corsage tee retails for $36.50 and is on promo for $19.50.
Get it. Well, at least that’s my recommendation.
There is a slew of colors, incl a beautiful red. Here it is in rosette, the color mommydearest & I love. It’s like J Crew’s antique stone.
I cannot find my irl pic of of me in it, but I feel like a ballet dancer with it on. It comes in petites, but I purchased it in regular, XS. I *did* find a close up pic of the corsage. This tee is better than J Crew’s corsage tee for at least 2 reasons:
1) It has full sleeves. They’re not 3/4 or bracelet.
2) The corsage petals are not raw. The edges are stitched. It’s very well done.
ATL’s corsage cardigan retails for $59.50. 49% merino wool, 51% acrylic. I haven’t seen this in person yet. I think it’s a newer arrival. If it’s anything like their cardigans, then this is a winner.
Up close pic. Pretty, sparkly buttons. It looks like the corsage is a mix of the sweater material & chiffon. Me likey!
And if you missed the early morning post, it was Ann Taylor Loft’s waterfall tee.
p.s. A little birdie passed on a rumor that ATL F&F 30% starts
on 11/11 ??? There was one this past August. I don’t know how many they offer a year so please chime in if you have news on this.
