Ok,now…I realize these probably aren’t gift suggestions for others, but…
I tried the Scarf trick sweater and me loveth! – $79.99 – I took an XS and got the black. It has mixed reviews on the site, but I really loved it on. You can see the white on Roxy (hey girl!) in this post. Ooh, and check out the white on Pamela, aka Ginger Girl. Cute!
I also tried on the Short & Sweet Jacket – in gold – There were only size 4, 8 or 12 to try. I tried the 8 and it fit well. The 6 would be too ruched at the boobs, if you kwim. There are sizes in black & brown online, but only 6 & 10 in the gold. I loved being helped by Anisha at the Berkeley store! She was super awesome and of all the Anthro’s I’ve been in my experience with her was the 1st time I felt like I connected w/an Anthro employee. I had a great time.
Click here to see Justine in the short & sweet jacket.
Dem- Sec Cardigan – $128 – It’s on backorder. It looks divine. I haven’t seen it in-person but had to share if you’re still looking for the perfect sequin item. This one makes me want a glass of champagne!
Double Twist Sweater by Sleeping on Snow – it also comes in black & red
Size S – It’s a nice sweater, but didn’t do anything for my waist.
Size S – online sku# 910632
Moving on…I recvd the Anthro Bric-A-Brac booties mentioned in this post. The size I recvd is fine. I’m just not sure they are keepers. They definitely have to be broken in. My main concern is that the top part of the bootie would cut any nylons I might wear or bug my ankles in general. I’ve been wearing leggings more than any tights or nylons, so I guess that’s not really an issue. In short, I’m undecided on keeping these.
There is an alternative by Crocs. YOU by Crocs Conse in sienna brown are in the same color family at available for $69.99 at Piper Lime.
