Last week, Macy’s had one of my favorite sales. It’s when the code/coupon they have for the week is good on brands that are usually excluded. I was looking around. Just looking, of course. I was really curious what I would think of the poms. Also, I missed the pom sandal trend this summer.
Introducing Betsey Johnson’s Lylly two-piece pom pom sandals ($69).
They fit tts. I wear have a M width foot, wear 7.5 and take that in most shoes. For additional sizing reference, I go up 1/2 size in most J. Crew heels and wedges. These feel like an evening shoe because strappy shoes like these don’t have a lot of support on the sides. It’s not a shoe I can wear while doing a lot of walking, but I could see making it through a full day that includes alternating between sitting/standing/walking.
These shoes get a VIDEO (:39) !
Other Betsey Johnson shoes I love are:
- Bettie classic lace-up sneakers ($59) – These have a red, woven pair of lips on them. On the heels! They run tts.
- Harpur high-heel sandal ($69) – I haven’t seen these irl, but I’m convinced it would look like I had Guiness Book of World Records worthy toe hair. They would be cute in pink or a another color.
- Poshhh novelty pumps ($89) – I can’t with the single eye. Maybe it makes sense when the shoes are on the feet, next to one another.
- Zappp puff sneakers – These are stinking cute! I thought the puff would elongate my foot length or look stupid, nah. They’re fun (!) and run tts.
The Bettie and Zappp sneakers are man-made. You might try them as say….well, I could get these at Target for $25-$30. It’s very likely you can find a novelty sneaker for half the price, but there will be a difference in quality. These are synthetic, but look real. In other news, Betsey Johnson currently has a Trolls collection — including this furry bracelet lol — that’s exclusive to Macy’s. I love that thing!
Thanks for stopping by!
