The temperatures have temporarily dropped here, giving me an opportunity to take my wardrobe into fall. I’m not getting too toasty with my gear because it’s supposed to warm up again this weekend. I really liked what I had on. I wear Nordstrom’s Lush tunic at least once/week. I may or may not own it in five colors. The lipstick is MAC red, blotted.
Speaking of Nordstrom, they recently launched J. Crew clothing this past Monday on nordstrom.com. I’m calling it a capsule collection because there are a limited number of pieces.
- Stellar customer service.
- Personal shoppers.
- More brands to mix into the Crewlade.
- Triple point opportunities.
- Perhaps Nordstrom is closer to you than the Crew.
- Free shipping both ways, no minimum.
- No final sale at Nordstrom.
- Get sold out items at Nordy’s like the sold out tortoise necklace I’m wearing above.
Am I missing any other reason(s) we like J. Crew at Nordstrom? I didn’t mention promo matching because earlier this year, Nordstrom wouldn’t do it for me on a Madewell item. They would match the sale price, but not the additional % off that Madewell stores were also having. I’ve been trying to find out what the policy is for Madewell, and now J. Crew. Will let you know if I get the answer.
ETA – On 9/18/16, I did a live chat with a Nordstrom rep.
Hi — I am wondering if Nordstrom will be price matching J. Crew and Madewell % off promos.
If we both have the same exact item (same color & size) then we can price match.
Got it. More specifically, if either of the merchants have 25% off of $100 as a purchase — will Nordstrom match that?
Yes we will.
So there we have it. Let me know what your experience is…
