Costco’s Kirkland label has a shearling boot that retails for $34.99. The colors are grey, chocolate brown (dark brown, kind of dull, almost black) and tan (pictured). The box said genuine shearling or something to that effect, but I figured they would be manmade on the outside. The tag inside says sheepskin upper, sheepskin insock, synthetic sole.
At my local Costco, the tan was almost sold out. Here is a comparison of it to the Ugg boot (left).
Grey – I almost got the grey, but my brother said the color was dull in comparison to the tan.
I love the vest because it is warm, but not bulky. Plus the price is great. The J Crew puffer is $118 this year. I have J Crew puffer in navy and missed the chocolate one. I’m happy to have this one from Costco. Puffers are good investments because they last multiple seasons. It’s just nice to get it at this price because I usually wear them to the gym (haven’t gone at all) or nephews’ soccer games. I have never worn one as styled w/pencil skirts & such in the J Crew catalogs.
The shearling boots are a great bargain. I have tried on Uggs multiple times and they are very comfortable, but I just don’t like the way they look on me. I am not convinced these are that cute either (it’s that puffy toe!), but for $35 they will do. I had a shearling boot by Rebel that I paid $80-$100 for a couple seasons ago. I did *not* want to get them dirty at all and it was hard to be comfortable. I won’t mind muckety mucking these up for $35.
My mom showed up to my house the other day in a very cute pair of cropped capris. She got them at Costco. I was very surprised. I usually don’t go thru the clothes there because…I guess I just don’t know how to shop it. No mirrors?
Have you shopped Costco for clothes? Have any tips? Chime in…
