Camo sweatshirt (SP14, A4378, $68) runs XXS – XL. It comes in mountain white and wet stone.
Size S – Runs TTS. This is wet stone (WST). It is truly bizarre to see this sweatshirt in Feb 2014. Well, at J Crew retail, anyway. You can see it in every issue of Field & Stream in any year.
The colors are interesting, nice I’d say. J Crew always does color well, even when it’s the wild, electric kiwi that hits rock bottom sale each time its released. However, the camo pattern is just very literal.
Sunburst skirt ($128) runs in regular 00-16 (A0632) and petite sizes P00-P12 (A3221). Color choices are ashen clay and navy. 100% poly & 100% poly lining. Zips up the back.
Size 6 – I saw these two paired together on a mannequin. Of course it looked great because they have spent thousands of dollars perfecting the mannequin, her pose, lighting, etc… It didn’t translate on me, of course.
The size 6 fit fine and sat above my belly button, on my non-existent waist. Maybe even just a little loose. If you have figure challenges in your middle, you might want the larger of your 2 sizes. If not, you might want the smaller of your 2 sizes. If I was going for this, I’d try the 6P & 8P. Remember you can call customer service for measurements. Yes, absolutey you can find this at a lower price retailer. I think the drawback to some of them might be a chiffon type material that easily snags and pleats that look bad after a couple of wears. The pleats on this are well done and seem like they would hold their shape. The fabric felt nice and didn’t give me the heebs. I know, really descriptive. Sometimes I can communicate my impressions well and other times I hope many of you get to see things for yourself irl — and not on final sale!!
