Collection draped keyhole dress (A5413, $198) runs 00-15. Color choices are carribean sand and navy. The dress is currently $149.99 in-store and online. 100% triacetate, 100% poly lining.
Size 2 – chest = 37.75″, waist = 29.5″, hip = 45″
Size 4 – navy – I have a tank on underneath, so you’re not getting a clear idea of the keyhole. It’s long. This could possibly be a work dress for some, but it’s gonna show stuff. I like the drape in the torso. I ordred this dress and see if the shoulders need altering. It felt like a generously sized cut, but I didn’t know in advance that I was trying on a drapey dress. I’m 5’0″, 36C, 39″ to give you an idea of fit on me. The skirt portion is definitely long, which is great for taller ladies.
Left pic I’m in my stocking feet. Im 5’0″ In the pic on the right I’ve busted out my ‘heels’ to check the length. The length is a bit mumsy. Alterations would definitely be in order for the length. I’m always amazed how much better an item can look when I’m in heels.
The white arrows show where my tank begins and where the keyhole ends. That’s a good 3 inches my tank is covering up. In the pic on the right I’m pulling down the tank to give a rough idea of how low the keyhole is. There’s some sheen to the fabric, but it felt like a dress that could be worn in the daytime and to work. For some, of course. The fabric had a little weight to it, giving it a nice drape. It didn’t feel heavy, though. Just realizing I never did fasten the keyhole. lol The hole probably isn’t as wide when the top of the dress is buttoned.
Gauze maxiskirt (SU14, $89.50) runs regular XXS – XL (A7805), petite XXS – XL (A7807). color choices are navy, sandy reef & white. 100% cotton.
Size XS – navy – I’m usually a S, sometimes M. The XS fit. The full body shots didn’t come out well. The dressing room lighting isn’t great, so the black tank I’m wearing blended right in with the navy. I’m 5’0″ and in this photo, I’m standing tip-toe. I would get PS or PM for a shorter length. The fabric felt light to medium weight.
The narrow corset style closure was different. I’m not a big fan of it, but it’s something different. It works a little like a built-in belt, but only visually. The narrow corset piece is fixed. It’s not attached as pull thru elastic to tighten the waist. I’ve re-typed this a bunch of times and still can’t get a good description going. Basically the corset thing doesn’t move. You just tie the ribbon and that’s it. You’re not pulling those two pieces of fabric tighter at the waist before tying. They corset belt pieces don’t function to tighten the waist, from what I recall. Just decorative.
In other news, popbacks are happening at different times. Not just during the site updates that we usually look for around 6a EST. I noticed some popbacks yesterday, Friday, around 1p EST.
