Denim western shirt in pale indigo (SP14, 06876, $98) runs 00-16. The color is called pale indigo (PIN). 100% cotton.
Size 4 – There was no 6 to try, so I went with the 4 available. It actually fit, but I’m not saying it’s the right size. It fit better than it looks, but definitely flattened my chest. I would go with 6, so I say it’s TTS.
I like the gold stitching and the pearlized buttons. Tiffany Rose of A Trail of Sequins of would appreciate this and might likely add it to her collection, if she doesn’t already have it. I heard from her recently and she’ll be posting again soon. Yay!
Showing off the western detail at the shoulder. The arms are a reminder that the 6 would fit better.
Collection No. 2 pencil skirt in antique floral ($198) runs in regular 00-16 (A3308) and petite 00-12 (A3745). The color is called midnight ocean (MOC). The skirt is currently $139.99 in-store.
Size 6 – It looked a little big on the hanger, so I should’ve taken a 4 in to try on as well, if they had it. I didn’t think to do that or go back out to look for a different size. Based on this try-on I would choose a 6P in this. The 6 felt too big and I was not on the thinner side of my weight that day. I think size 4 would be the right size in regular or 6P, which is a 4 equivalent.
See the puckering across the front. And of course the length is too long. Check it out on Happiness at Midlife.
Another plain shot on the left. It doesn’t have pockets. I think that’s a good thing and would’ve ruined the hip lines. The right pic is with heels. I like the fabric on this one, although it’s impractical for my lifestyle. It had a nice weight to it. I wonder if they’ll make a cotton Factory version. If they do, I’ll definitely check it out.
