Factory bulldog & bow tee – Size S (06737, $42.50) runs XXS – XL. The color is called white gold (WGO). This felt like the right size, even though it shows bulges on my sides.
Length of the tee. I’m 5’2″.
It’s a lightweight tee. It didn’t feel whisper thin, though.
Factory skinny jean in black (FA13, 02641, $79.50) run size 24 – 33. The inseam is 28″. 98% cotton, 2% spandex. The fabric content is very interesting cconsidering the retail jeans have polyester in them.
The stamp inside the waist says toothpick, fyi. And the description on the back tag of the jeans says super-skinny stretch jean.
Size 29 – I really wanted to try these and I’m glad they were in stock. They look pretty good and definitely felt comfortable. I’m really, really partial to Loft’s modern jeans. Ema just let me know they come in black, so I’ll have to try them to compare. My Loft jeans don’t look like this in the crotch.
Factory waffle henley – Size XS (05444, $39.50) runs XXS – XL. Online color choices are black, dark poppy, ivory, parisian blue & navy. There’s also a hot pink color, and grey available in-store that I don’t see online.
There was no S, otherwise I would’ve purchased it. I asked for a backstock check, too & tried the other Factory store near me. I wish I would’ve added it to my online order, but I didn’t think about it. I really like it & have the grey. I can live without white. I think. lol – And then there’s this waffle henley for the stripesick.
Sleeve length. The size XS doesn’t look too too small and I know these tops stretch out a little bit. The stretch happens for me mostly from mid forearm to the wrist. I’m talking about this year’s Factory henley, specifically. I didn’t think this would stretch out under the arms, though. That’s the only place where it really felt too small. I wouldn’t go around w/it like this except at home, so I don’t mind that my bulges show.
Factory scalloped lace top – Size 6 (06250, $88) runs 00-14. Color choices are black and mauve blush.
The top isn’t very long, so it’s going to hit us all in different places. I’m 5’2″ so if you’re taller or have a long torso, it might be a lot higher.
The lace pattern. Looks the same as last year’s retail. It was called the raindrop lace top & had short sleeves (review).
I like the longer seleve on this. 3/4 doesn’t bother me. It’s less material to potentially snag, esp at the wrist.
Factory tuxedo shirt – Size S (06342, $69.50) – This was a surprise likey-love. I just grabbed it to try & share pics. I hadn’t even noticed it on the website prior to visiting the store. I’m not a big fan of the short collar or mandarin style collar. Also, J Crew’s tuxedo style tops like the swiss dot tuxedo (review) have been a miss for me. This size S fit well.
Sleeve length. Long enough to flip up the cuff if you have shorter arms. If your arms are longer it might fit, but maybe no cuffing room. Or maybe it’ll flip to bracelet length and you’ll have room to show off some pretties.
The bib is quite long. Some of the bibs end higher and it’s not as flattering. I think that design choice elongates the body.
This is a rarity. I never tuck. I think it worked. I will say it reminds me of a few catering jobs I worked, but I still really liked it. I immediately thought of all the crazy pants it might pair well with.
This is about how see thru it is. I have on black bra. Arrow pointing, which you’ll see if you click on the pic.
Factory classic button-down shirt in flannel (30519, $69.50) runs XXS – XL. I only see one color pattern online right now. This one and the color is called red. The following one I’m reviewing might have been pulled or is just sold out. I just saw them online the other day. (sigh)
Size S – Definitely the right size for me.
The color is the same as last year. The black is faded. At least this year it looks that way in the stock pic. Last year the dark squares looked black online & I was disappointed when I saw it in-store. I ended up with one from F21 last year, so keep your eyes open out there. I think the dark squares on here are even more faded than the retail version. They sometimes use less dye for Factory items and the colors are less rich.
Classic button-down shirt in gingham – There’s a check shirt available for those that have been looking for it.
In other news, I made these muffins this morning. I used this recipe from Itsy Bitsy Foodies. I don’t know what kind of oven she has where mini muffins take 5-7 minutes. I just put them in and kept checking on them till I thought it was time for the toothpick check. They were so good and got #minigapproved.
