I’ve been loving this header of Angela Highsmith on the jewelry page. I finally figured out the 3 necklaces she’s wearing. The layering is the brass-plated crystal necklace, crystal wings necklace in crystal and flower curtain necklace in Parisian blue. I have them all reviewed in this post.
Factory brass-plated crystal necklace (95923, $54.50) comes in crystal or navy. This is the crewlet version of the Venus flytrap. It’s lightweight and it took a second to get all of the crystals to face the same way. Based on trying it on, it’s possible that the crystals might flip a little bit while wearing it. I’ll have to see how it performs when I wear it. The idea of flipping would usually bother me, but it doesn’t with this necklace.
Close-up. I didn’t care for the retail Venus because the crystals seemed muddled. Not really clear. I kept thinking Cracker Jack box necklace when I would see it online. I’ve seen this crewlet versionon a couple of sales associates and it always looks good layered with other necklaces. I would also wear it alone, now that I’ve seen it in-person. I’ve gotten over the muddled looking stones.
Factory crystal wings necklace (A1051, $54.50) – fresh plum
Factory crystal wings necklace (A1051, $54.50) – crystal – I thought this might be the one on Angela Highsmith. I liked it on the rack.
Pretty! The stones look great.
Factory flower curtain necklace (A1059, $59.50) – Parisian blue. I like these colors. If I saw it in-person, I must’ve not liked it enough to try it on. I was in such a rush, though, who knows what I was thinking.
Factory flower curtain necklace (A1059, $59.50) – cranberry punch – I thought the dark red, burgundy stone mixed with black was something different. It looks pink online, but reads darker irl.
