(beep beep) All aboard the Factory bus. Vroom-vroom.
Factory beaded cable sweater (HO13, 08219, $128) – The color I tried is heather stone (HST). It alo comes in ivory (IVO). 37% viscose, 35% nylon, 28% merino wool. No itching.
Size S – Felt like the right size. It isn’t shrunken, but I’d say it runs a smidge on the shorter size. The lack of shoulder seam is going to hulk some of us up in that area.
Sleeve length. The style is a little boxy, note right pic. The neckline is a combo mock/rollneck. It was fine.
If you click on the pic, you’ll see the sparkle pattern. They’re only on the front. None on the back.
Lace-print sweatshirt (08014, $68) runs XXS – XL & comes in natural (NAT).
2012 Retail (review) vs 2013 Factory – Both are size S. I was pudgier in the stomach last year than I am at the moment. However, I can still feel the difference. I’m sure that the Factory is ever slightly bigger, yet leaner than retail. And this, my friends, is why Factory is knocking it out of the park.
Factory – Size S – Whenever I try on Factory reissues of things I already own, I totally want to buy them. Many of them fit better than the original retail and not just because my body shape has changed for the better over last year.
Factory embroidered paisley tee (02072, $78) – Size S – This is now $36.99 online & $54.97 in-store. It’ll be an addtl 40% off in-store thru 11/16. If you buy 2+ items, you’ll save 10% more. This felt like a basic tee, but with am embroidery pattern on it. It felt a little short. The problem with tops and sweaters running a little short is that I look bigger in the shoulders and chest, but my waist doesn’t necessarily look smaller.
Floral lace v-neck dress (HO13, 06306, $128) runs 00-14. 69% cotton, 31% nylon, 100% acetate lining. The color is black (BLA).
Size 8 – I have to go for the 8 in anything w/a defined waist like this.
This isn’t my personal style. You may have to try different bras to see which one will work the best. One with wide straps and that’s cut low will be best.
Printed drape popover (HO13, 06731, $79.50) 100% poly. The color is navy (NAV).
Size S – This felt like the right size. They would call this boy fit in retail. It’s fuller thru the body. I wouldn’t size down for myself because it would get too tight in the sleeves. It’s much cuter w/the sleeves rolled up.
Sleeve length. That mockneck. Ugh. I didn’t like that at all. The poly fabric felt fine. It fell off the hanger before I could get to the room. Not saying that’s good or bad. Just stating.
Faux-fur infinity scarf (32094, $46.50) – Comes in black & espresso (pictured). Loved it! I came home and ordered it in black, along with size S in the sequin bow cardigan (instapic). Yes, you can find this scarf at a number of other retailers. What I liked about this one is that it’s lightweight, so it lay nicely when I put wrapped it. I also like that I didn’t feel like a bear had his arm around my neck in a chokehold nor did I feel too hot. It lays perfectly on the back of the neck. I passed on espresso because I already have similar. Have you seen faux-fur scarves w/strapless dresses and thought yeah, right, only on a mannequin, that don’t make no sense. I have, but I could see wearing this scarf with a cocktail dress.
Crystal and feather stud earrings (A0317, $24.50) – Pic is a little blurry, but these were pretty irl. Of course there are pics on the website & you can zoom, but I alway like irl pics when I can see them prior to ordering.
