J Crew Factory’s paisley tunic (45537, $95) runs XS – XL. The color is called flame (FLA). I only see XS online right now w/a ship date of 7/16. You might still find it in-stores as it’s a new release.
Size S – I think S is the right size and sizing down one would get too tight. Too bad because sizing down would help bring it closer to the body and create a slimmer look. It’s adding weight as-is. Or at least accentuating the weight I try to camoflauge. My guess is it runs a little bigger thru the body than the retail version, so if you have shapely hips it might skim over them instead of stopping at a certain point on your body.
The poly fabric didn’t feel too bad. I definitely knew it was poly, but it didn’t make that rustling sound I can’t stand. I have to say that when I usually see the poly fabric items in J Crew Factory, I don’t like them at all. I wonder if I would’ve felt that way if I’d see this in-store vs trying it on at home.
The sleeves were very long on the retail version. They’re short on the factory version, but still too long for me. Remember, I’m 5’2″
Here’s the retail version (review) vs factory.
The color is vibrant and I like the flame & blue combo. Too bad the fit isn’t better on this one, but at a very good price it’s a worthy version. Rememeber, you have to be cool with it being 100% poly.
* 10″ Bermuda seersucker shorts – $26 – Size 6 fit ok, but a little grabby on the inner thigh. I like my size 8. FYI, they are $36.97 in-store + 50% + 10%. I think the online price is a good deal as well. My cost/wear went low very quickly.
* Big bike graphic tee – $14.50 – Someone put this on a polyvore w/the orange/white stripe pencil skirt. That’s a cute idea.
* Flower fringe necklace – $26 I keep looking at this and should’ve bought it on my last online order. I haven’t seen it in-store.
* Zigzag sequin tank – $44 – Saw this in-store and it looked really good. Unfortunately I’d already exited the fitting room when I saw it.
