Factory printed strapless knit dress (SU14, 69395, $69.50) runs XXS – XXL. The color is called regal blue (RBL). 95% cotton, 5% spandex. There’s also the strapless knit dress in black or wild strawberry.
Size M – I remembered last year’s factory anchor printed Sanur and knew to try a M in this. That was the right call. I’m a 36C. If you have a smaller chest, you might be ok with going tts. I find that the fabric stretches and shows the white threads of the fabric and spandex if the dress is too small at the chestt. It shouldn’t have that issue at the skirt because it’s very swingy.
First way to wear. As-is. Not folding it in any way. I’m 5’0″, to give an idea of length. I didn’t fix the top part nicely, but this is basically the full length.
2nd way to wear – Fold over the top half of the dress. Gives double coverage. Lifts the dress up in length. You’ll want to twirl. I liked the look very much w/the dangling stone and petal necklace I tried on with it.
This dress is called the Sanur on the retail side. I don’t see it available this year at the moment. Click here to see the 2009 version and it styled a few ways. Loving this necklace dress combo. The perfect blue cardi complement will be the Clare cardigan in bright indigo.
Third way to wear it. As a skirt. It’s my least favorite way because I’m not a long, swingy skirt kinda gal. I like a midi, if the length can work on me, but not a fuller cut. The top is size M of the factory eyelet-front top (review scroll down). It’s currently on promo for $29.50. It’s $34.97 in-store + 50% off thru Mon, 4/21.
Factory textured cotton dress (SP14, 50344, $98) runs 00-16. The color is called pacific turquoise (PTU). 100% cotton, 100% acetate lining. Dry clean.
Size 6 – TTS. Fit well. they finally got the pleats on the skirt right. The pleats start more to the side, which gives a better look than if they went all the way around. Also, it’s pleated and not gathered. They don’t know how to do a gathered skirt without visually adding weight to most of us. It felt like a nice-casual style, but I could also see wearing it with refined flip flops. Not the cheapie cheapies.
A chorus of booooooooos.
