These two sweaters are currently sold out online. There is a chance they will pop back. I didn’t see them when I visited a J’Crewlet on Dec 1. I’m not sure if they’re online only or will be showing up at the b&m soon.
Factory intarsia Charley sweater in sequin bow (23679, $98) – 37% viscose, 35% nylon, 28% merino wool – What can I say. Another novelty sweater. The sequin bow is pretty cute.
I meant to add an arrow to this photo to point out the following. If you look at the sleeve just above the cuff, it’s a little loose. The rest of the sweater fit fine elsewhere; not too loose, just enough slack. However, that puffiness above the sleeve hem looks pretty goofy in-person. I ended up sizing down to XS in another novelty sweater from Factory and I don’t regret it.
Factory intarsia Charley sweater in sequin heart (23629, $98) – 37% viscose, 35% nylon, 28% merino wool –
The red sequins are cute. I kept looking, looking, then kicked my leg up in a can-can when it clicked that the shape of the heart framed my chest like a bustier. (kick) Wheee!
I happened to have a striped tank on under whatever I wore that day and tried it on w/the sweater. I have taken to wearing collared buttondowns with sweaters, but I still like extending the length of a sweater with a tank. Nugget: It’s a good way to keep a tramp stamp covered.
Uh, just another random photo. I don’t meant to load all the photos I take, even if I do crop them, but once they’re in here I let ’em stay.
Colorblock necklace (72587, $42.50) – I had to try this on because I thought of all of the items J Crew makes in brilliant blue & mint. This would be really cute w/a silk Blythe.
Close-up of the fireball bead between each resin (?) piece. I love the Factory pieces also include the crystal detail near the clasp, just like retail jewelry pieces.
Colorblock necklace – pink/orange – I always enjoy this color combo, even if it doesn’t particularly pop w/my skin tone. Another thing about Factory jewelry is the chains are a dull, brass color. It makes the chain look very tired. Like bad thrift store find. Not good thrift store find. Plus, the brass shade looks even worse against some of the bright, beautiful colors of the clothes.
Ma-ma, I like it with pink. And I like wearing it on my head!
Yes, necklace, thank you for entertaining Mini G. You didn’t fall apart or even crack a link when she tried to chew you. And you didn’t scratch her when she kept dragging you up and down her head. What’s that you say? Dude, I’m trying my best to grow a third eye and work on my reflexes while I’m at it. I’m always watching. You see how fast she is. You’re cute, but they didn’t put you on the best colored chain. Your blue friend would be my first choice.
