Size S – regal blue – This fit tts. I agree with the online reviews that it’s light in weight. It would work for my mild, no snow climate. I really wanted to try the ivory because it looks so fresh and clean, but they didn’t have my size. The regal blue is nice.

Size 6 – heather dove – I agree with online reviewers that the arms are tight. It’s still tts for me. I would take the 6. I wouldn’t be able to get more than this Old Navy Fair Isle sweater under it. Thicker sweaters would be difficult to get into the arms. Those are not bands of stitching on the arm. They’re long on me (5’0″) and that’s how it bunched up.
Fair Isle from other retailers. A number of these are on sale.
Back to the coat. I love grey, this shade included. Sadly, the zipper held me up. I spent waaaay too much time trying to get the coat zipped. I had zero luck or and no skill getting the two zipper pulls to line up with each other. So even if I got the zipper insert into the top zipper pull, I couldn’t get it all to connect and work properly. Based on that alone, I couldn’t buy it. I’m not sure I would anyway because a) I really want a J. Crew majesty coat in grey and b) the design of this is just a bit too plain for me.
