Size 6 – warm camel – As you know, petites and talls are online only. This would be my regular size and it fit tts, imo. One button jackets tend to look like this on me, so I usually go for 2 or 3-button jackets. The warm camel is nice.
The jacket looks good open or closed. I would get an 8P to shorten the sleeve length, which would remove some of those sleeve wrinkles.
I folded the collar down and it stayed like that for the photo. It’s not going to stay like that when you wear it. I couldn’t get it to stay long enough to take a picture with it folded down.
The collar is designed to permanently popped. The popped collar is a pass for me. I would overlook the 1-button aspect if it looked good w/a functional collar. If you have a shorter neck, it’ll make your neck look shorter and you run the risk of getting makeup on your collar which means extra trips to the dry cleaner. If you have a long neck, this will look great on you in that area.
What do you think about the Regent?
* Camo shirt – I’m still trying to rock my blossom jacket that was camo-style from 2009, so no camo for me. This looked good on the hanger and I would try a 6.
* Double-knit merino long wool cardigan – Looks promising. Great colors, including burgundy. Note the drop shoulder, though.
* Excursion vest in pinstripe – Need. XS.
* Turner pant – I’d like to try these on. Don’t even mind the zippers. I’m interested in safari. Easily paired with a cream sweater and the dainty gold jewelry trend.
