Size 6 – navy – What’s navy about this? It’s super faded and I would’ve pegged it a grey. It looked grey to me. The silhouette is more or less a shift cut. The stripe pattern is borderline for me. I don’t like them too wide or too narrow. The stripes are just a little wide, as is the spacing, but I liked them overall. I thought the fabric was nice. Weighty, but not too heavy. Old school J. Crew quality.
Those aren’t my nipples. I checked. That’s all I have to say about that.
There are 2 seams at the torso. For me, it just put a beam on an area I don’t need to spotlight.
The split. Why? Yes, let’s do something different/interesting. We’ve seen this before with the 2009 burnished linen skirt. It falls lower on the body on me (I’m 5’0″), but it’s just going to hit some of us higher up. No bueno. I suppose if you get the correct size that won’t be an issue, but I still don’t like the design.
