J Crew’s technicolor floral dress (03668, $198) runs 00-14. The color is called moss multi (MMU).
Size 6 – Size 6 felt like the right size. It’s a shirt dress with a shift feel. No pockets.
Stepping into “heels” to get an idea of length as I would never wear this with flats. I’d feel too dumpy. Heels always make me feel leaner.
A good shot of the print. I love the vibrant mint & pink I’m not a big fan of the moss color. They did a good job of capturing the color of moss, though.
This shot didn’t come out as well as I’d hope. Trying to give you an idea of how it would look w/a necklace. See how it looks like a pajama gown or housecoat?
Technicolorfloral top runs 00-16, color moss multi (MMU). It’s currently $129.99 online & $109.99 in-store. The top button is a fabric covered, exposed button. The rest of the buttons are hidden in the placket. The top opens all the way down and isn’t a popover.
Size 4 – Let’s give a nice clap for those Ceces in neon yellow. If you ever see wild colors at J Crew, you can be sure they’re going to mix with something past, present or future. These are from spring of this year, I believe.
I like the look of it better in pictures than irl. It has a lean silhouette, though. That’s very welcome in the sea of boxy cuts.
The technicolor print from 2011 is similar.
It was a little tight in the arms. I would definitely need to go for my regular size 6 or get a slit altered into the sleeves.
I had the pave necklace on and tried it outside the blouse (left pic). It didn’t really work. Neither did tucking in the necklace. The print is enough anyway.
