Trench dress in Super 120s (SU14, $228) runs regular 00-14 (A4841), petite 00-12 (A5073) and tall 0-14 (A5072). Color choices are marine salt & navy. 100% wool, 100% poly lining.
7/10 – $199.99 online – sale sticker was ripped off, but I believe it was $199.99 in-store.
Size 6 – marine salt – I brought a 6 & 8 in, trying the 6 first. It fit fine, so I’d say tts. However, the proportions are off for me at 5’0″, so I recommend petite if you’re also short. The belt was very long, so you’ll have to fuss with it a bit to make it look nice. Replacing the belt might be a good idea. I don’t like that buckle. You should be able to layer under this if you like. I no like. I can’t be mad at the dress because my figure isn’t a match, but it didn’t feel like an updated idea. It felt exactly like something I’d find from the 80s. Part of that could be the color. It might look more hip in navy. Also, if you have a more defined waist, it will be a better figure match.
The lapels are held in place by stitches. Not a seam running down the lapel. There are stitches at the corner of the lapel, tacking it in place. I wasn’t a fan. No pockets, in case you were wondering. That’s a loooow v-neck. I wonder what the employee wardrobe is like at J. Crew. Can they wear this stuff as-is or do they have to cover up?
