I just wanted to say how much I love your blog. I live in Australia and I by a lot of clothes online from the US and it is great to see how the clothes look on a real person (even though we are completely different body types! – I am 5'9' !!) I find it very hard to judge the clothes from the website when they are all on size 0 models and the photos are taken to disguise any failures in the design. Thanks so much. Kirsten
Hi Kirsten — thanks so much for dropping a comment. ITA about catalog styling vs real life. I've heard of some of the crazy things they do w/cutting and clamping garments to create a good look. Now they have computer tools to adjust things even more. There are usually a couple of pieces that take me a moment to recognize irl when I see them in the store. I'm glad my reviews are useful. Take care and if you ever have questions, ask away 🙂
Hi Gigi, I've been reading your blog for some time now and I just want to say that I love your blog! I especially love your review on J. Crew products, as I am a J. Crew addict myself. I was wondering if you could make a link specifically for J. Crew stuff only? Thanks!
Hi. Thank you!! It's unreal that it's been 7 years. I'm not sure what you mean about a link specifically for J.Crew stuff. Please elaborate here or feel free to email me gigiofca@mail.
