Jessica Simpon Larssen sandals ($98) come in black, light luggage and taupe. The online description at Macy’s says they’re leather, but they’re not.
Size 8 – taupe – The fit was good. I’m 7.5 in most shoes, but sometimes take 8 in sandals in the event of any swelling. I don’t have a lot of experience w/Jessica Simpon, but thought the style might run a little small. Size 8 would be the right choice for me, esp since synthetic usually doesn’t stretch like leather.
I’m not sure about the studs on the sides. I’m not a studs or spikes person. They would be more plain without the studs, though.
I thought these were leather, but they’re synthetic upper and sole. They were very, very comfortable.
I like the color. It reads as grey irl.
Size 8 light luggage – I like this color, too.
I will reiterate that the shoes were supremely comfortable. Many shoes in the price point I buy have man-made soles. I try to stick to upper leather, though. As stated, it will stretch if necessary and your foot isn’t in a war with the shoe all day. Also, leather can be fixed up with polishes. You can usually wipe clean synthetics, but that’s not always successful.
Switching gears. This is a pretty good deal. Sperry Top-Sider Hayden penny loafer, currently on sale for $59.99. The current BLOOM promo doesn’t work on Sperry and neither do the Star Rewards codes. They’re still a decent deal at about 30% off.
