I wanted to get this review up much earlier before the kate spade surprise sale ends tonite, but the day went a different way. It was available during the last surprise sale, which is when I bought it. So you might see it again in a future sale. Or if you found this review because you’re contemplating a purchase on Ebay or a resale site, here you go:
perri lane bubbles lynn ($428, wkru3106) – currently $149
- perforated smooth cowhide leather with matching trim
- capital kate jacquard lining
- gold emboss with tiny cutout spade
One thing I adore about Kate Spade handbags and Kate Spade, in general, are the clean lines. I love the leather on this. It has some texture to it, so I don’t have to worry about adding random lines to smooth leather.
There are two sizes of perforations or “bubbles.” I wasn’t sure how I felt about the mix of sizes, but I really liked the way the creamy white looked online. Plus, I loooove totes, so both of those qualities won me over enough to purchase it.
Almost all Kate Spade handbags have an interior, side pocket with no zips or closures. And across from that is a zippered pocket. Even the small handbags and clutches have at least a zippered pocket. It’s great to tuck away ID, money and credit cards without fear of them falling out. I also love that many items come with a dust bag.
Yes, I store my handbags in the dust bags! It does prevent me from rotating as much as I’d like to. I only see the chocolate brown dust bags and not the style of purse. I’ve been carrying around my sidney stripe tote for months now. It’s time to swap it out for this, on occasion.
Here’s the reverse. No problem. Not a problem. Just pointing it out.
