Print one-shoulder dress – Size 4 – Reader request. I would have tried it on anyway. Love the colors, love the print. Size wise the 4 fit fine. The shoulder strap was loose, though. I suppose a petite size would take care of that. However, the side that doesn’t have a strap wanted to slide down. Not good. I think this is for the smaller busted. I was busting out. Oh, no pockets on this one.
Size 6 – The one-shoulder also comes in this solid color. I’m glad I tried the size 6. There was a bit more space for the chest. It fit fine in the 4, but the extra space in the 6 is nice. However, the shoulder strap is still an issue and even more so the sliding down on the other side that doesn’t have a strap.
Fern print maxi dress – Size 6P – I definitely needed a petite for this given the length. The fit was good. I felt that the volume & print added weight to my middle. I’m already looking pretty big there right now. But me aside, I think this is a nice dress. Very vacation-y.
The dress also comes in this bloom print.
Cascading ruffle silk dress – Size 4 – If I were getting this, I’d get a 4 or 6 and would not get it in petite. The silk is substantial. It wasn’t see thru and didn’t feel thin like that ridiculous silk bonfire. No pockets on this. That might have pushed me over the edge on this. I had a little problem w/the waist. It didn’t hit quite where I would have liked, but I would want a belt of some sort on this for contrast and that would help with fit. The bodice of the dress wants to slouch over the waist since I’m shorter. If you’re taller I’m guessing that will be less of an issue as your torso would take up more space between the shoulder & waist.
Broken stripe print dress – Size 4 – The fit was good for this size. I liked this one even though I felt the print added some weight. It has adjustable straps. Very nice.
Print dress with beaded neckline – Size 4 – I really love the coin detail at the neckline. The print is nice as well. The silhouette is doing nothing for me. I think it’s supposed to have that top-tucked-in-skirt look. If that’s the case, not executed well. I didn’t like the waist at the band. You know those things tend to ride up during the day. The dress doesn’t know where to sit. Perhaps if your waist is very defined, this is less of a problem?
