Here are some reviews.
Lacy sleeve sweatshirt dress (352000, $79.50) runs regular, petite & tall sizes. The color is black. 100% cotton.
Size S – There’s a brassy gold, exposed zip at the back. It’s 5-6″ long. Size wise, I would get a PM. The sleeves are too long and it interferes with the design.
I’m wasn’t sure how I felt about the sleeve. Kinda cool. However, it doesn’t go with the sweatshirt material. And it seemed just a little big across the chest, but not. Maybe just a little bit under the arm. It felt a little sloppy on. That would be fixed at least a bit by going to a PM. I’m 5’0″.
Herringbone sweatshirt dress (357160, $79.50) runs in regular & tall sizes. The color is snowy white. It’s white, but not stark white.
Size S – I was very intrigued by ths on the hanger. Not so much when I put it on. I think it will flatter a figure with a waist that’s more narrower than the hips. As far as the overall look? I don’t want to get beamed up. Pass on the Star Trek look. The neckline will fight almost every necklace you put near it.
This dress is on the fitted side. Showed my underwear line (left pic).
Marled sleeve dress (348515, $89.50) runs regular, petite & tall sizes.
Size 4 – There’s an exposed zip on the back of this one, too. It’s black, so it blends in. It’s a cute, casual dress. I liked it w/the addition of the pendant, but the marled sleeves makes it cute with no necklace.
Chambray stripe dress (351605, $79.50) runs in regular sizes. The stripes and bottom portion are black.
Size S – Stripes, chambray and a shift cut. I expectd to really like it, but the fabric felt a little cheap. Oh, no wonder. It’s 84% polyester. A general note about the items that I tried on is that I liked some of the ideas. Overall, I felt like they cheapened out in the fabrics. I can see that being a fiscal strategy for the year-end. Make the last items among the cheapest to produce for the year. Sell for the usual prices & promos.
No pockets. But there’s an exposed zip for you.
This is going to be a tunic on some of y’all. It did this and that when I bent at the waist and at the knees.
It’s difficult for me to dislike stripes. If the fabric were different on this, I would’ve purchased it or at least put it on my wishlist. Yay for machine wash.
Open hoodie (358622, $79.50) comes in regular & petite sizes. Color choices are dark grey melange, forever navy & sandy grey heather. 60% cotton, 40% poly.
Size S – TTS. This was a good fit. Personally, I would stick with the regular S over a PM. It felt very comfortable on. It made me think of J. Crew’s rumpled terry cardigan from 2009. The fabrics are not the same and neither is the style, but they’re both cozy.
Yes, people, nude heels rule. The trick is to get them a close to, but a little different than your skin color. These are J. Crew patent Martinas in soft desert. See these man-made, but an exact match by Chinese Laundry ($49.99). An open toe and lower heel, man-made, but with a rubber sole at Alfani at Macy’s ($49.95). And leather Rockports (approx $68) in warm taupe.
Remember that the site is getting a refresher. It might be down from 9:30p and overnite. All a guess as I don’t have any inside info.
Good luck if you’re in Snowmageddon 2015!
