Lace riviera shorts (339858, $69.50) run regular 00-14. 100% cotton. Nice!
Size 6 – TTS, they fit well. They’re very popular. I visited one store and they only had 2 sizes left. Another store had none. You can search store availability on the product page for each item. There’s also the 4″ inseam riviera shorts, which is the same cut. 14 color choices.
Everthing was great about the shorts. The fabric, fit, the lace, the tiers. Belt loops are a plus.
Space dye stripe maxi ($79.50) runs regular XS – XL (337513) & petite XXS – L. 70% Rayon, 30% Tencel.
Size S – This felt like the correct size. I don’t have a defined waist for the elastic band to pop onto. I was able to move the waistband around for different looks. I didn’t think I’d like this because I don’t lke variegated stripes. This is a space dye, though, and the stripes are softer. I liked it. I’ve tried the dress on twice and felt both times that it’s flattering.
I’m 5’0″ and the length is fine for me. I will ask how tall I am tomorrow when I go to the dr to settle it once and for all.
My personal fit issue w/the dress is the waist. Of course I wasn’t moving around, so I don’t know if the elastic moves around or will stay where you put it. Between the stripes and naturally being in motion while walking, etc…I don’t think my non-flat stomach would be as noticeable.
The bra you wear might be a consideration as it seemed to have a slight racerback cut in the front. I didn’t notice the back. You could probably sew on bra keeps and that would make it wearable w/a regular bra.
Fluid pants in Marisa fit (324484, $79.50) run regular 00-14. Made in the Phillipines. 62% Polyester, 33% Viscose, 5% Spandex. Machine washable. They’re on sale for $59.99 in-store & online.
Size 6 – Loft is onto something with this pant cut. I liked the fabric, too. It has the potential to create nice lines. As they stand, they might be better than your first pairs of work pants (looking at you, Express), but not as good as pants you’re now willing to spend money on (looking at you, Ralph Lauren.
One issue is the pockets. They’re too thick and show thru the pants. Even if I were a very thin person, I think pocket visibility could still be an issue. The fabric might be the issue. Perhaps they need to make the pocket in a different fabric if it’s not already.
I love the color. I liked the fit, too. The entire pant fits fine and felt comfortable, despite looking too tight at the upper, inner thigh. If they can give a little more breathing space in that area, I would love to buy these.
Jeweled collar chambray softened shirt ($59.50) runs regular XXS – XXL (339656) & petite XXS – XXL. 100% cotton.
6/15 ETA: Now $49.98 online + addtl % off when promos are in effect. There’s only M & L on the site. The S fit exactly, so I’m fine with ordering the M. Hopefully it won’t be too big across the back and under the arm. It’s a final sale gamble I feel comfortable with since I’ve tried it on.
Size S – I saw this online & wanted to try it on. I can’t believe it’s 100% cotton. I didn’t look on the tag in the store. Loft puts their fabric content online. It was itchy. I thought it was a linen blend. I’m a 36C & 5’0″.
I liked the cut. However, the length seems a bit short for a regular. Potentially bad news if you’re tall or have a longer torso.
You can put pins on the collar of a shirt. But ask yourself, will it be a white collar?
Loft Cares cards are now available for $25. They were just released for purchase this past Thursday, 5/1 and are good for a month, thru 6/2. The card entitles you to 20% off in-store purchases of $100+. It’s good with other promo priced items. I.e. the store currently has 50% off regular priced items & 40% off sale items. Whatever the subtotal, an addtl 20% off is applied when you have the Loft Cares card. If you think you’ll be at Loft multiple times between now and June 1st, it’s totally worth it. Or you could share the card with someone else. It’s not good online. Which is why I think some of the really cute things — like the blurred dot v-neck dress — are currently online only. Tip: if you don’t see find a store on the product page it’s not available in-store.
90% of the purchase price (of the card, I believe) will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hopsital.
