Last nite I was on Facebook and noticed an update from Jeannie of Colorful Corporate. I’ll just copy/paste what she wrote:
To everyone whom is concerned about our family: My husband Zach Bunker has been missing since Wednesdau morning If anyone has any details of anythign, no matter how small or insignificant, please contact me privately. We are doing our best to find him and have many police agencies involved. Until then I appreciate your thoughts and concern even if I can’t talk or get back to all of you. Until then please, pray for a safe return. Thank you.
I only know Jeannie thru her blog, but when I read the above FB post I got the biggest feeling that someone kicked me in the gut. I’ve been thinking of her, her three small boys, her husband and their families ever since. I cannot remotely fathom what she’s going thru. I don’t know if it’s cool to share her business on my blog and I’ve been debating whether to post this or not. My motivation is that anyone who desires can send support and well wishes here, or do so silently.
A search will be conducted tomorrow, Sun June 2 by the Texas Equussearch, a non-profit. If you’re interested in making a donation to the organization, click here. I see that I have 1092 visible followers of this blog. If 10% of us made a $5 donation, that’s $500. That’s pretty good for a couple of quick clicks. I made a small donation and in a note to the seller I put in honor of the June 2 search for Zach Bunker. My note doesn’t matter, but I wanted to show appreciation for a specific search.
I felt so supported and so much love from many of you when I went thru my myomectomy in 2009 & miscarriage in 2010. Notes on my blogs and personal emails truly meant the world to me. I only discuss retail here for the most part, but I know we are all so much more than that. Hoping Jeannie gets some love from the JCA community!
6/2/2013: Facebook page for Zach Bunker search – I sent a msg to Jeannie this morning (6/2) with a link to this post so she can see all of your supportive comments if/when she has time. Surprisingly she responded. I had no expectations. Jeannie mentioned that she & Zach have been together 20 years. Also, she sends her thanks.
