Wrap-front jersey top (954338, $17.94) – Size S vs M – Available in regular, petite & tall sizes. I really liked this pink color, so I have a number of pics to share. This top has two features I usually dislike. Well, I like the idea of a wrap top, but they never work on me. This one did. They picked a place that didn’t hit me too high or too low on the torso. Not once was I concerned that it would fall open on me.
The second feature I usually dislike is a gathered bottom. The elastic was gathered, but not tight. I had to check to see if it was really there. The looser gathering means that if you pull it down, it has a better chance of staying there, instead of trying to tighten and roll up. I was really surprised that the bottom didn’t annoy me. I played with it a little bit and it seemed to look best if I put it up higher, allowing more folding around my belly.
I liked it w/a statement necklace. Probably a different one, but this was doable. It’s J Crew. Knockoffs are everywhere.
Jersey cowl-neck top (939055, $16.94) -Size S – TTS. Don’tcha love it with my Adidas pants? I’ve had those since 1994. Is that crazy or what? They’re finally starting to wear out and I think they were used when *I* bought them. Things aren’t made as great anymore. As far as the Old Navy top, I’m not sure how long it will last but I loved and wore it immediately. The color was a big factor in my liking it, as well as the way I was able to drape the fabric. And no, I’m not pregnant. Just still plump in the middle and it hangs low. I got really off track w/my Tupler exercises (discussed here) when I got sick in Dec and I started, but had to stop the treadmill when I got sick in Jan. On the upside, I’m now 45 or 46 days fast food free! Absolutely no cheats or slippery slopes what-so-ever. Yes, I’ve had burgers and fries, but all homemade. I’m counting fast food restaurant-free days.
Floral-printed blouse (952621, $26.94) – Size S – Avail in reg & tall sizes and 4 print patterns. This one is called blue ditsy floral. Very Liberty-like.
There’s was a little pulling between the first and second buttons. It kind of blended in with the fabric. I felt like S was the right size. If I went to M to reduce that pulling, it would get too big in the width and add more weight. If I dropped even one lb, I think it would fit better.
