J. Crew released a pink gingham blazer and blue one last spring on the retail side. The Factory version is currently available. I’ve been watching the price on this blazer. It was $49.50 over the weekend. Outfit inspo can be a tipping point, so let’s check out some pink gingham blazer ideas:
ETA: Facebook Live review of the Factory gingham blazer
I love the floral and stripes. Cute layering. I don’t think Jenna is wearing a gingham blazer, but layering the burgundy gingham under the pink gingham blazer might work. And the third pic is the retail version from last year. I believe it was a one-button blazer, whereas the Factory version has 2-buttons. a 2-button or 3-button stance works better for me than a 1-button.
I like the tie around Jenna’s waist. I really like her green gingham heels. I wouldn’t have put them with the blazer. Actually, I don’t think they’re gingham. I think they’re another print from last year, but I would try my green gingham tie-wrap sandals, which have a similar silhouette.
J CREW FACTORY PROMO
Today’s flash promo — FLAVORFAVE for 35% off + free shipping and 50% off clearance — will disappear from the website at about 9:15 pm PST. However, the code often usually works until 11:59 PST.
- Factory gingham blazer ($148) runs regular 00 – 16 and petite P00 – P12. The colors are cobalt ivory gingham and pink ivory gingham. The lone, petite reviewer said that the pink is more muted than she desired. I like that. I wouldn’t want it to be garish. I doubt I will make it to a store before 4/29 so I order this. It nets $45.17 with FLAVORFAVE. I expect this to run tts, so i went with an 8P, which is a regular 6 equivalent.
- Factory flutter-sleeve top – Tops like these have become workhorses for me. I got navy and the soft aquamarine. I love coral, but end up not wearing it, so passed. Even though they’re only $14.99 (!) on this promo.
Size 4 – chest = 38.5″ S
Size 6 – chest= 39.5″Body length on the petite is 24″ and 26″ on the regular. - Factory printed flutter-sleeve tank – I forgot to get this one in the burgundy dot. It has high stars. Even if it happens to look cheap irl, it would probably look nice under a black suit. Nets $18 on this promo.
If you already have the retail or Factory gingham blazer, let me know how easy it has been (or not) to style.
Chime in…
Hi G, I haven’t tried any of the Factory or Retail Gingham blazers — the season for lighter jackets seems so short here in NY. We go straight from chilly and cold to downright hot. (No lie — today it’s 55, but it’s supposed to get to 78 on Friday. Eyeroll.) Either way, I’m Team Two-Buttons as well! Whenever I try on a Campbell, i automatically wish for a button that hits further up on me – the lone button often seems so low. I hope your Rewards blazer works out for you!!
I’m loving your Blazer inspo, however. Jenna looks absolutely chic in that photo w/ the blazer and the belt!!
Hey Tati – I always loved the office pics of Jenna. They always look so candid. I think I own one Campbell and that’s the sparkly tweed one from HO15. That I forgot about this past season, doh! That’s the problem with storing things away.
I don’t like the brown buttons on the pink gingham, but I can change that if nesc. Hope you’re doing well 🙂
Thanks for the inspiration. I don’t own the blazer, but the pics and your ideas, plus the great factory price, make it very tempting.
I am so going to miss Jenna!!!
Hey maryeb – Yes, Jenna will be missed. We have the Internet as an archive and also to keep tabs on what she does next. Check out wearlikethis, who saw this post and created her own look with a print blazer. So cute. Click to view.
