TWENTY gets 20% off sitewide thru tonite, Tue, 4/18. And there’s extra good news if you are a Gap family cardholder because you can add TUESDAYS for an additional 10% off. It worked on a mockcheck for me.
Joe’s Jeans Provocateur Petite Bootcut Jeans ($126.99) – I haven’t picked a color scheme for spring or summer and don’t plan to at the moment. Anything bright goes, for the most part. However, I do have a strong desire for white pants or jeans and know they absolutely must be included in my wardrobe lineup. I see them as the perfect bottom to any top. White jeans are a challenge. These will be my first pair of Joe’s Jeans and I’m curious to see what I think. Hopefully the petites will fit nicely.
Betsey Johnson striped bow bracelet ($38) – I think this is so cute. I have never been a huge fan of pink, just liking it in small doses. Of course that has changed now that I have a little girl. I’m a little more partial to the color. You won’t see me going all Nicky Minaj on you, but smatterings of it here and there like this bracelet are fun.
I actually own a high-low skirt in black. It didn’t work out as a skirt, so I’ll be wearing it as a strapless dress. I don’t think you can do that w/the purple one in the set below. Now that I’ve tried the trend, I would try it in another color for the right price. The earrings are by Kate Spade ($38). They’re huge, but so pretty. My pink ones may be going back, unless they look awesome with my JC v-neck sweater in neon stripe ($29.99). How cute is the blue jelly tote. Fun for summer. Also comes in pink.
I really want a top with a peter pan collar. I haven’t found the right one yet. I wanted it to be long sleeved, but I will think about trying the striped one at the top since there is free shipping both ways.
I almost forgot. Thumbs up on this Pim + Larkin Colette dress ($78). If the silhouette of JC’s basket-weave shift dress ($148) didn’t or wouldn’t work for you, or the retro lemon color is too bright, the Pim + Larkin is a nice, classic sheath alternative. The color on the J Crew dress is Skittleliciously yellow. It makes you really want to buy and wear that piece of sunshine. However, it’s so bright that it could look dated in a couple years. The Pim + Larkin dress is a more subtle yellow, but just as spring-y and should last longer as far as being in-style, color wise. I fit the M in this.
Thanks for visiting. I always appreciate it 🙂
