Talbots has gorgeous, gorgeous red cardigans! Presenting 3 of them…
1) Pintuck cardi (A46926) retails for $89. It comes in regular, petites, woman & woman petites. There are 8 colors to choose from.
Size PP – The sweater looks beautiful folded. However, messed up pleats would drive me nuts during the day, which happened when I was trying it on. I tried it unbuttoned and nothing thrilling happened, so pass.
2) Jewel-neck cardigan (C50926) retails for $59 and comes in regular & petites. Cotton/nylon/spandex blend.
Size PP – I tried the PS and it fits ok, but the PP is a better fit. Me loveth. This is as good, if not better, than a J Crew Jackie. It has a little spandex in it, which is nice. 3) Boyfriend cardigan (A48926) retails for $69 and comes in 10 colors. Regular, petites & woman. Cotton/nylon/spandex blend. Size PP – Me loveth, loveth, loveth.
J Crew twisted crystal necklace (Roxy, I luv u glaydie for selling this to me)
J Crew pin cushion necklace, firstname.lastname@example.org had one up for sale on JCA.
And yes, that’s the Talbot’s tweed skirt (loveth) in a size 2.
1) Click here to sign up for their Rewards card. There are 3 levels. Black & platinum are for Talbots charge card holders. The red level is for non-charge card holders. If you are ever in the store without your red card, they can look for it by your phone number. If you’re using your black/platinum Talbots cards, the points are automatically posted to the card. 500 points = $25 reward, according to the SA I spoke w/on the phone. And…you don’t have to have a charge card w/the store…? Just sign up, k? 2) If you recently received a Talbots catalog in the mail, look for a 20% off coupon inside. It’s good all the way thru 9/27. I’m not sure if all catalogs got them or if they are randomly issued like the recent J Crew catalog. You can present the card in-store, or use it online. If you purchase online you get 20% plus $5 shipping. I’ve gone thru the catalog 3 times and didn’t notice it. Duh. There isn’t a code. The offer code is your customer number (highlighted in yellow) on the back of the catalog. Or, as I said, take it into the store. Who is on the way to their recycle bin to check for the catalog? *lol*3) I swear I had a third point. I guess not.4) Oh…I know! (It only took me 2 hours to remember) If you try on a pair of their pants, the SA will take $5 off of your purchase. They have trousers with 3 different fits and that’s one of the items they’re showcasing. I’m not sure if you need to try on one of those pair or if any pants will do. Chime in…
