Well, first I have to say that I am not really fond of synthetic or man made shoes. I prefer a good leather upper. However, I try to be flexible if I think the shoe will be flexible for me. Man made shoes can be fine if I will only be in them for a few hours and definitely not walking any long distances. With that out of the way, onto the post.
First here is a really darling shoe by Mossimo. I saw it on Mslay’s blog. I went straight to the Target website.
Too bad it sold out. It went down to $17.49. It’s almost mean that I even posted it but I had to share how cute it is. Man made or not, I would love to have tried that one.
One tip is to check Target online. Not only do they have shoes in many sizes in stock that you will see in the store. The online store has styles that you *may not* see in your local store. For example. I tried the Pari sandal on inn black. It wasn’t exciting, but it might float someone else’s boat. It’s also available online in dark brown. And they are calling the following color tan. Looks like white to me.
I know white shoes are questionable in general, but I would like to try that one on for the heck of it. It’s like a sculpture.
The following is a pair that could be good for work. I didn’t see it on the website. It is also synthetic, however, I haven;t purchased it but have tried it on twice and found it to be comfortable. Not too high. I haven’t walked in them for any length of time, but I think you can tell right away if the shoes have a shot or not in the comfort dept.
I read a few shoe reviews and it seems as if Target has added some cushioning in the ball of the shoe. Apparently they are more comfortable these days. I will let you know when I get a chance to take the Takia ruffle pump out for a spin. I kept those! For the moment at least.
And finally…here is the Panya wedge – $29.99
I love the reviews on Target.com. One mentions that these look like armadillos. True, but they are still really cute. I knew in my heart that I would never wear these, so they went back.
Any luck w/Target shoes? Or do you keep walking past their shoe dept?
