Crystal color flower necklace (A1151, $198) is now $99.99 online. I saw it marked $99.99 in-store on 12/26. The color is called iced quartz.
The first line of the description sums it up: Our designer molded lilac-colored rubber to look like crystals. The lilac part of the necklace is literally rubber. It’s a very interesting necklae. It was on the heavier side, so in that regard it didn’t feel cheap. Some of the rubber pieces were twisted on the wire, as you can see in the pic. It looked like pink fishing wire. I tried twisting them, but was concerned about breaking the wire. I would expect that it’s strong, but didn’t want to take a chance. Another concern would be the wire wearing down the rubber if you have to keep twisting it. That’s probably me being paranoid. I just think about these things because I know I’m not going to restring the pieces of the wire falls apart. I’m in the crinkle boy shirt in black watch plaid (6), which is currently $49.99 in-store. Thumbs up on that.
The overlaid crystals are secured thru gold prongs of some sort, in the rubber. You can see 2 of them in the pic directly below.
Mixed stones necklace (A2937, $165) is still regular price online vs $99.99 in-store. I saw it on 12/26, but it was marked down prior to that date. It’s unique piece. Someone shared a pic with me. I appreciated the design, but I didn’t think it was my style. There are at least 8 colors in the mix here. My favorites are the bright yellow — which is very bright, but I wouldn’t peg it as neon — the mint, pale pink and the tortoise. From what I know, there weren’t many in-stock in-stores last week. You an ask a sales associate to order it for you and apply the in-store price. It’s really cool that J Crew does that.
