J Crew’s printed Janey flats (69213, $220) come in red multi & vanilla multi, which is the mai tai print. They’re only available online and are currently $159.99.
Size 7.5 – Having tried on many other pairs of Janeys, I went for my true size of 7.5. I’m usually size 8 in J Crew. The 7.5 fit well, as expected. Check them out on Audreybella, my Fit Twin. Her pair have almost no blue in them. Boo on that.
I like the blues and all of the other colors in the mai tai fabric. J Crew’s colors are simply gorgeous.
Fabric is a lil sensitive. I don’t know what those dark marks are to the right of the shoe. They look like the fabric took a hit. The white scratch is a pull in the fabric.
Another pull in the fabric.
The gold heel is ok. I think I would’ve preferred a black heel, but then it wouldn’t be a Janey.
I would definitely spray these with protectant before wearing. I sprayed some satin shoes
with hairspray and they turned darker, which I didn’t mine on a cheap pair of Payless shoes. Vectra protector spray is said to protect fabric, without changing the color. Right now I have a full stock of Kiwi products. At some point I’m going to order the Vectra 3-pack to try. I like the different spray attachments to try.
